Baby Yoga

Welcome to Baby Yoga at Birch Holistics!

Gentle movement, connection and development for you and your baby

Roots to Rise Baby Yoga is a calm, nurturing class designed to support your baby’s natural development while giving you space to slow down, connect and enjoy time together.

 

Each session gently explores movement through stretches, tummy time, rolling and early developmental play — all guided in a way that feels safe, supportive and led by your baby.

 

Classes are suitable for a range of ages and stages, with options offered throughout so you can meet your baby exactly where they are — whether they’re just beginning to discover movement or becoming more active and curious.

 

This is not a fast-paced or overstimulating class. It’s a thoughtful, welcoming space where both you and your baby can feel at ease.

 What to expect

 

Each 45-minute class includes:

 

  • gentle stretches and movement

  • tummy time support

  • rolling and cross-body coordination

  • sitting or upright exploration (where appropriate)

  • a calm, guided relaxation at the end

There is no expectation for babies to “perform” — some will lie still, some will explore, some may need feeding or cuddling. Everything is welcome.

 

 Our rotating class themes

 

Throughout the year, classes follow a gentle rotating focus. Each block explores a different aspect of your baby’s development, while still including a full range of movement every week.

 

This means you can join at any time and feel confident your baby is getting a well-rounded experience.

 

Our themes include:

 Foundations & Connection

Supporting early bonding, body awareness and gentle movement

 

 Twisting & Rolling

Encouraging cross-body coordination and early rolling patterns

 

 Core Strength

Building strength through the tummy, shoulders and hips

 

 Moving Through Space

Supporting early mobility, tummy time and spatial awareness

 

 Balance & Upright Play

Developing sitting confidence, balance and early upright movement

 

 Confidence in Movement

Allowing babies to practise, explore and build confidence in their own time

 

 A space for you too

Alongside supporting your baby, these classes offer you a moment to pause.

 

At the end of each session, you’ll be guided through a short relaxation with your baby close — helping you both leave feeling calm, connected and grounded.

Class Pass/PAYG Options

Block booked Baby Yoga Class Pass — £9 per class

Save money, secure your spot, and enjoy a beautiful weekly routine.

Your pass can be used to attend your chosen class each week for a half term.
